The precious stitching along the seams and on the external surfaces of the upholstery creates a refined elegance. The frame of te backrest and seat is in steel with moulded polyurethane foam padding, and shaped foam with polyester wadding in the zones where more comfort is needed. Springing is obtained from elastic belts and the base is made up of four feet in cast aluminium with a tubular steel frame in a gunmetal grey finish.

The cushion of the product is covered with soft original Italian leather.

Born in Toulouse in 1966, Jean-Marie Massaud graduated from Les Ateliers, Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle, Paris in 1990. He started working both in Asia and in France, and finally opened his own office in Paris in 1994. Since then, he has devoted himself to industrial and furniture design. His collaboration with Marc Berthier and his work in the field of urban planning led him to design and architecture. He is interested in design, industrial products and furniture in various contexts. Its contextual approach focuses on research towards the essential, in which the individual remains the focus of attention. It is a study supported by research on the senses, magic and vital emotions that has led her to work with many brands.
Most of his work these days many awards around the world and the designs are exhibited in the major museums of design collections: Amsterdam, Chicago, London, Paris, and Zurich: Musee National d'art Moderne in Paris from the permanent collection of the Museum für following De Zurich, Chicago Athenaeum-Museum of architecture and design, Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam, and the Musee des Arts Decoratifs, Paris permanent collections.
