The Little Petra Lounge Chair, designed by designer Viggo Boesen, was first unveiled at the Copenhagen Cabinet Makers Association Exhibition in 1938, where it was immediately praised and won awards at many exhibitions, including Berlin and New York. It is one of Boesen's designs from the 1930s and can be considered part of the Danish Funkis style, which was characterized by a softer, lusher, and more organic aesthetic than the Bauhaus approach of the period.
